Section 01 · Setup

Start with seven tiles and an empty 13x13 board.

Each player draws a rack of up to seven letter tiles. The first play must connect through the board's centre; later plays must join the existing word network.

New tiles form one horizontal or vertical word and connect to the words already on the board.
Section 02 · Your move

Place a straight line of tiles, then submit the move.

Preview tiles on the board before committing them. Every word created by the placement must be valid in the game dictionary, and committed tiles stay fixed.

Section 03 · Tactics

Score the board, not just the longest word.

Use letter and word bonus squares, build cross-words when they add value, and keep a balanced rack. Swapping can be stronger than forcing a low-value turn.

Section 04 · Turn flow

A turn, in order.

Review your rack and open spaces.
Look for a legal line that connects to the current board.
Preview the tiles.
Place one or more rack tiles horizontally or vertically before committing.
Submit, swap, or pass.
A valid submitted move scores; swapping replaces selected tiles when legal; passing ends the turn.
Refill and continue.
After a scored move, draw back toward seven tiles while the bag still has tiles.
Section 05 · Legal vs. illegal

What counts — and what does not.

Legal

Placing new tiles in one horizontal or vertical line.
Connecting the play to the existing board after the opening move.
Creating only words accepted by the game dictionary.

Not allowed

Moving a tile after it has been committed.
Submitting disconnected tiles or a bent placement.
Submitting a move that creates an invalid main word or cross-word.
Section 06 · Winning

Finish with the highest adjusted score.

The game ends when the normal tile or pass conditions are reached. Remaining rack values are deducted, an emptied-rack bonus can be applied, and the highest final score wins.
